Healing Waters Fly Tying Project

Some of our talented fly tyers contributed their time and skills to produce this beautiful plate. These flies are their interpretation of the theater ribbons and medals that are also displayed. The plate will be presented to Chuck Tye of Project Healing Waters at our Christmas Party. Over the next few months, the plate will be on display at various events around the country. In late July the plate will be auctioned off at the Fly Fishing Federation National Conclave in Loveland, Colorado. All of the proceeds from the auction will be donated to Project Healing Waters.

At top-center of the plate, is the "September Sky" fly tied by club member Dr. Chuck Moxley. He tied the first one for Dick Cheney right after 9/11. Dr. Moxley tied this one specifically for the Healing Waters fly plate.
